If I was a rollergirl, I would want to be Misato.
I met this camera candy girl at a Hellgate Rollergirl bout. She was a ref and my friend Andy and I couldn't stop looking at her. She has great style and is a fantastic skater. When I was in Spokane a few weeks ago, Misato and I had a little outdoor lifestyle shoot together. Here are some of the shots from that shoot.

Here in Missoula we have a fabulous magazine made for moms called Mamalode. The two ladies below asked me to document their adventures with the Hellgate Rollergirls as they learned to skate fast, stop safe, and what it means to be in the circle of pain. Hellgate Rollergirl - first bout

The Hellgate Rollergirls had their first bout on August 6th in Missoula.

They did it.
They made it happen.
They got together, formed a league, trained, bought lots of fishnet leggings, had fundraisers, and now their first bout.

I love these girls and it was so wonderful to see them all so happy!
